Tender salmon coated in a smoky-sweet chipotle honey glaze with just the right amount of heat and a little sticky sweetness.
Ingredients
4 (4.5 oz) Sea Best Atlantic Salmon Fillets
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Preheat your oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chipotle in adobo, honey, soy sauce, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the chipotle-honey glaze generously over each fillet, coating all sides.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness (145°F internal temperature is ideal) Tip: For a lightly charred finish, broil the salmon for 1 minute after baking.
Top with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve hot.
