Honey Chipotle Salmon tacos

4 Servings

Tender salmon coated in a smoky-sweet chipotle honey glaze with just the right amount of heat and a little sticky sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 4 (4.5 oz) Sea Best Atlantic Salmon Fillets
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chipotle in adobo, honey, soy sauce, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the chipotle-honey glaze generously over each fillet, coating all sides.
  4. Bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness (145°F internal temperature is ideal)
Tip: For a lightly charred finish, broil the salmon for 1 minute after baking.
  5. Top with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve hot.

Serving Ideas:

  • Flake into warm corn tortillas with your favorite toppings for tacos
  • Layer over rice or quinoa bowls with veggies
